She probably thinks it was a lot of work for something the kid will outgrow in a few months, but consider this. Last Oct, my grandson came home from the hospital in the same handmade sweater his mother and uncle came home in 35+ years ago. When they are outgrown she can lend them out and keep them in the grandparent hope chest. Congratulations and kudos to the knitter. michael On Feb 18, 5:09 pm, Seth Vidal skvi...@gmail.com wrote: On the subject of vests and sweaters: My significant other just finished knitting vests for a friend of ours who recently had twins. http://www.flickr.com/photos/ejchang/5456485549 She based the vests on the wooly warm vest, but scaled down, a lot. I think she did a nice job and wanted to show them off. -sv -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups RBW Owners Bunch group. Very cute! I live in a very wooly-centric home - in fact, the Mrs. is at Stitches West right at this moment selling the yarn and fiber knitters use to make garments like this. What with the recent discussion of the supposedly uber-scratchy Cheviot discussion, her website primer on some common fibers may be of interest to some: http://www.tactilefiberarts.com/articles Roger On Feb 18, 3:00 pm, MichaelH mhech...@gmail.com wrote: She probably thinks it was a lot of work for something the kid will outgrow in a few months, but consider this.
