Eric, thanks. One day I hope to undertake a longer tour with my family. In the meantime, like Patrick wisely stated, I will take it a day at a time and hope that small tours build an appreciation for cycling and a desire for a longer tour. In the end, I know we are making great memories

During the cold and snowy days of January, my wife and I thought a multi-day bike tour with our middle school aged sons would be a fun way to spend spring vacation. Unfortunately weather during the last full week of March in the Washington, DC area can be quite unpredictable. A cold and damp
