I had some concerns when I was riding with Hetres (40mm or so, didn't give them a chance to stretch) and recently when I tried the 1.75" Pari Motos (actual 38/39mm). Mostly just brushing a shoe when I forgot going around tight corners, usually at a slow speed. With the VR Speedsters (actual

During the conversion of the Redwood, I finally came to the realization about overall wheel diameter. Granted, larger tires will have more tire drop so that will affect overall bb height during riding. However, consider the overall wheel diameter of a 700c wheel with a skinny tire - 700cx23mm

I squeeze 32mm tires into my frame, but it's built around a 28mm size. Going to a 42B size would drop me down 9mm. That's a chunk of loss there! But the new me is 100% content with the bike I have, yes I am. 100%, sir! On Monday, October 5, 2015 at 9:19:42 AM UTC-7, David Banzer wrote: > >

I have a custom Riv with 80 mm bb drop and 177,5 mm cranks converted to 650B (Pari-Motos, 39-40 mm). No long stretch to the ground, but no problem. You can always go back to your old wheels, but donĀ“t hesitate to try. Olof Stroh Uppsala Sweden Cyclotourist wrote: I always toy

That bike looks great as a B conversion. Any pedal-strike problems with it's relatively low bottom bracket? On Sun, Oct 4, 2015 at 8:55 PM, David Banzer wrote: > Short blog post about a short bike ride to get a short cup of coffee. > Riv content - took Redwood, freshly shod
