I ended up finding a used pair of Velo Orange Zeppelin 52mm fenders. I
talked to Peter and it sounds like these are not rolled, providing lots of
space. You could size them similar to a plastic fender.

If you're in the Bay Area, I have enough spare parts (wheels and brakes) you
can borrow to try a conversion.

The fanciness of the Rambouillet intimidates me, to be honest. My other

I have to agree with the others: the Ram is a wonderful bike and I'd not
trade one for a Redwood. You can always collect a bit of beausage if the

Compass ELs with Orange Seal in tubes (and sufficient air pressure) are a
very workable goathead-country combination. I'd say that the tire savers
would be largely cosmetic if you have the sealant, and in fact -- haven't

I *need* a cargo bike for the kids, but I *want* an Clem. This thread isn't

Wow, Clem owners, keep the pic's coming! Some really nice builds out

shiny-fendered limo's :) It still amazes me what you get for the price.

To clarify the saddle situation, it's already been Obenaufed a few times and
ridden a while by me. I imagine it's still pretty stiff for Ethan's weight, but
it'll break in quickly at the rate he's riding.

Hey Ethan!
I'm really liking your Clem! I'm wondering, which handlebar bag are you
using? It looks to be just the right size ... not too big, not too small.
And the honey-colored Brooks saddle ... well ... I'm just sayin', it looks
super *handsome *(not pretty ... ugh). I have a honey
Gorgeous. Hope you find (maybe already have found?) a buyer who "fits" it.
Coming with all those extras is especially nice. I may have missed, but do
you have a price to share, or are you handling that via private messages?
Thanks.

Julian, could you share which tires and fenders you're using, and the
sizes? I don't think I've seen a Clem so dressed up ... it cleans up
nicely...must be the rare "Esquire" package :)

You say you've been dreaming of a Redwood, but you're selling its first
cousin, the Rambouillet! The Redwood was a tall-sizes only, slightly
