My experience with a Riv SaddleSack is the guard really only does the thing
it claims: protect the brake cable. The bag settled around it in its
original position, there was no lifting up or back.

Clem size 52 cm with a 117cm wheelbase (tires are 650b x 48)
Platypus size 55 cm with a 122 cm wheelbase (tires are 700x42)
I did my best to measure the wheelbase of each bike, but they might be
slightly off by a cm or so.

I had a 1up rack but it got stolen! The thieves must have had the special allen
key. It was locked with the key lock that 1up sells but they got through that
no problem. Don’t leave your 1up racks on your car in Los Angeles!
