Non machined black 36hole was all I could get.
Honestly since using non-machined rims 12 years ago I have come to prefer

+1 Matthew's advice is extremely rational. It is becoming increasingly more

repair, the bike is literally as good as new, albeit with a marred decal. I

A true tragedy, yes. The kicker was that REI had ALSO boxed up my Betty and it
was waiting to be shipped as soon as I had a buyer. I was a nervous wreck

Not many options for wide-rimmed tubeless compatible rims that can handle
V-brakes unfortunately. I had a QBP watchlist set-up between the
cliffhanger rim and the Velo Orange Voyager rim. QBP received 3 cliffhanger
rims one day in January and I snatched it up.

I ran salmon brake pads with non-machined sidewall Cliffhanger rims for a
while on my 650B Atlantis. The braking itself was horrible and the
squealing unacceptable. These were Salmon inserts on Shimano CX70 brakes.
I switched back to the stock Shimano black inserts, with no other brake
