Mac asked about a possible reversion by RDA to the entry of adaptations of art
works under the artist of the work adapted.
As far as I can see, 7.8.2.1 in the draft of RDA is quite clear that there
has not been a change from AACR2. The draft reads 'For adaptations from one
medium of the graph
ALA (the (the "redbook") entered engravings of an art work under the
original artist (19B). AACR (261B) and AACR2 (21.16) enter engravings
of an art work under the engraver.
Is my memory playing me tricks, or does RDA revert to the ALA rule?
