I got a far better price on these ($49.95 ea.) from http://www.texastooltraders.com/Shop/Control/fp/SFV/32723
, they're made by powr-grip, I'm sure they're the same thing mcmaster
is selling.

Not only does that make sense, it's the best explanation of the effect of power

Thanks all.
It was my understanding that we should still be running the conductors
of the same circuit through the same raceway, even if it is the DC input
into the inverter since that DC oscillates slightly (nowhere near as
much as AC). I wasn't concerned about eddy currents in the FNMC of
Esteemed Wrenches,
We haven't talked oscilloscopes since 2007. We have a Nantucket Fronius
inverter that is telling us there is an AC frequency problem. It seems
feasible that there is a frequency issue way out there and that we better
check that.
Any reviews on the Velleman handheld (or any
Seems that if it is only frequency you are looking for, a simple Fluke with
min/max capture is all you really need (of course it must measure
frequency).

Yup, and the point is that pulsating DC will induce eddy
