Tigo Modules basically MPPT the module. Now installing them on an
inverter that has MPPT sure does pose an interesting question. Who is
going to win the fight. Tigo sweeps relatively fast so if you had a
really slow tracking inverter the Tigo's would likely win and life would

I am in what you would call a coastal environment in Southwest Florida.
Fronius blamed some of the repeated inverter failure sites on the proximity
to the coast, although we have many installations that are closer to the

I will look into if a ROW unit can be used on 208 (without a XFMR).
There may be a country setting we could trick the inverter to see the proper
grid voltage you have. Done it before in the states with TL units.

Would anyone be willing to share secrets about installing on Western Red
Cedar shingle roofing shingles? We're looking at our first ever job on a 7
year old roof. Any and all suggestions welcome.

Remove cedar shingles and put flat metal behind the area to hold array,
have PV over hang the shingles a few inches to hide metal. PV is a 25-30
year product and wood shingles are not.

Viessmann also uses Wilo pumps (you should be able to get them locally from
Blodgett Supply). I believe Viessmann also uses Typhocor. I think they're a
European glycol manufacturer.
