Dave, it's 6 T-105s and over the winter the only load is the CC and inverter. Temperature is unknown, though likely gets to -20F. There is insulation, not that it does any good if they are not charging to capture some heat. Dan Fink Adjunct Professor, Ecotech Institute IREC Certified Instructor™

HI Dan, All the big three have the same wiring diagrams with a positive buss and then breakers going out from there. And yes there is no main disco for the DC branches. But if your point was that the fuse could/will blow and then you have the PV/wind connected to the inverter and could

Hi Allan and Jay, I second the golf cart battery option. Trojan T-105s seem to be the most bang for the buck. An 800 W array wouldn't stir up the electrolyte sufficiently in an L-16. Maybe the backup generator would. What all is she running? Drake At 06:40 PM 10/22/2015, you wrote: Hi

Hello, I'm replacing an old Solarjack pump with a similar Sunpump in a tiled well about 12' deep. I'd like to find a flexible water pipe so I can leave enough coiled in the well to pull the pump straight out to dry land without disconnecting. Standard poly pipe kinks too easy. Thanks. Kirk

Esteemed Wrenches; This creeps me out too and sometimes causes lack of sleep. The Midnite Solar power panel install manual shows no OCPD on in DC + main from battery bank to power panel. Easy to wire the main DC breaker to control those conductors, but then you have a "self destruct" switch if
