Every once in a while, there's a posting that's worth saving. This one goes
in the Organizing your business folder. Thanks Matt. With this much

Assume 3 parallel battery stings, with identical batteries of internal
resistance r.
Assume identical wire leads of resistance R.
Then when the batteries have the same state of charge and their internal
resistances are equal, one can solve for the current in each string.
I1 = I3
I2 = I1 r /

Not sure if this should be in markets or wrenches. I'm guessing they don't
have a physicist on staff. My first impression is that this is a hoax.

I couldn't find other reference to the PV inverter in a quick read:
In 2004 SMUD ran a series of tests on MicroPlanet Ltd.’s High Voltage
Regulator (HVR) at its
photovoltaic test laboratory at Rancho Seco. Using a
Sketchup from Google does shadows, and allows setting time of day and day of
year. Challenge is getting latitude adjusted. The Pro version allows
inputting, whereas the free version requires some tricks.

The fire hysteria is relatively easy to deal with - the facts take
care of untruths. As William Miller noted, of greater threat here in
California are the rules being presented by various fire departments

If the PTC is calculated from the STC and not the results of testing
at PVUSA Test Conditions, then it's of somewhat dubious utility as a
predictor of performance, since it's a function of an already
questionable quantity - the STC.
What the PTC and STC _should_ measure is well-defined:
