Joel, the least cost is through mail order. Just be careful to get a good
gage mil and warrantee.

Has anyone got a used conduit box for a SW 4024 inverter?
Please reply off list if you have one with the price, it saves the clutter.
Thanks,

It is great to hear that Wrenches are having better luck with
trackers. This recent thread, on the subject, is way different that
what has been stated in the past. It sounds like trackers might
really be a cost effective approach to net metering. Is it really
more cost effective than adding

14000 kw / 200w mod = 70 mods = 70 micro inverters, 70 * $161 = $11,270
plus $635 EMU = $11905 cost for inversion

2 x 7.5 kw Fronius inverter = 15000 kw, 2 inverters * $3877 = $7754 cost
for inversion
That's a $4151 delta on inversion cost, a 53% increase over standard string
Mark,
Not to criticize your math or your premises, which I agree with, but
we really should be using list prices when we make comparisons here.

But don't forget the string combiner/fusing box plus DC disconnect, plus

because I did a price comparison for a number of array sizes, and string
inverters always were more. The difference was from $1000 to $5000

Jason,
Please note that I did not include monitoring. I did not include the
~$500 for web-based monitoring of the Enphase, only the EMU as required by
CSI, just as id did not include the cards and such needed to get the sting
inverters on the web.
You can tack on all the extra costs you like. I

Mark,
Retail, at least according to the Fronius price list, is 40% over what
you stated.

I'll be using the Suntech 210's (78 of them as it turns out), but I've
engineered it for 3 SMA6000us inverters. I don't know if it's safe to tell
anyone what I will pay for them...
I still am reticent to have 78 inverters under panels out of reach on a roof.
Has anyone had any of these
