I had a situation with a Sonnon system where the controller missed it's
turn off point and discharged the batteries until there was not enough
voltage to keep the BMS running. I jury rigged two 300W panels in parallel
and charged the batteries directly until they turned on the BMS.

Agree Larry and thanks for the update. Have you placed a Lifeblue order?
They all are pretty pricey, even the LG resu10 is about 4,800 at this
time. I do like the idea of easily adding on another string of Lifeblue
at a later time. --Dave

Jay,
After LVD, with Relion, LiFeBlue and the new Elite PS ABC-CPU, the BMS will
keep the battery off until you begin to charge. The battery will automatically
come back online.

Hi Dave,
I looked at them a couple years ago and tried to find out who makes their
cells, no luck. Compare with LiFeBlue, for $100 more retail you get a Bluetooth
battery monitor in each battery that communicates with the internal BMS and a
10 year Warrantee. I would like to stress how importan
Hi Dave,
This is wonderful info.
And it leads into the what happens when it reaches LVD?
Given that it is using almost 10% per day of battery capacity for the BMS, what
happens when the charging source for whatever reason shuts down. ( CC dies
while people are gone for a few days for one exam
Has anyone experience with Battle Born lithium batteries? Their price point is
better than others we have looked at.
