IMHO Interstate makes a decent battery. It sounds like to me that you are not Equalizing but just trying to BULK. You'll need at least one robust EQ cycle to bring the SG's in line and likely 2-3 a couple of days apart. At least the Magnum's of a couple of years ago are not intuitive to get
