The CD player worked right from the beginning with
no hitches but the mp3 player didn't
No small partition at head of the drive. I am trying to do a fresh install.
It can't get past the initial bootup from the floppy.

After booting up "x" number of times, the boot loader says that maximum
number of mountings has been exceeded and it must do a file system
check. This can take a long time. What file do I edit to change the
number of "bootings" I can do be fore the check if forced??

Help, I can't access my floppy . when Linux boots up I see a line that
says device fd0 is 1.44. However I can't access the floppy to format,
copy to or from or read. I get this
mount /dev/fd0
returned the following error:
mount:/dev/fd0 is not a valid block device.
I am having a suspision
Here is what I did. You need to mount the cd
1) start button
2)hit programs button
3)hit administratos button
4)hit "Text mode file system tool"
hit the ""mount"" button next to cd-rom
