GLINT upgrade problem

I'm running RedHat 5.0 and had a problem with glint 2.4 (the "Available" selection problem). I installed glint 2.6 and now it won't even start. I obtained glint 2.6 from the 5.1 upgrades. Are these upgrades incompatable with 5.0? I went back to glint 2.4 and that runs but I'm back to the original

I'm experiencing the same problem with glint as reported in previous posts. The suggested fix was to download the update rpm for glint and install it. I'm using version 5.0 but could only find the update for glint in version 5.1 updates. Is there an update for 5.0 or can I use the update found in
