When I was having different and obviously filesystem problems, booting
up with a reiser4-enabled livecd and rebuilding the tree fixed my fs.
This is of course only a very small piece of anecdotal evidence
regarding the reliability of fsck.reiser4's ability to fix the
filesystem.

1. make sure you have reiser4progs-1.0.6 installed
2. close all applications.
3. start single mode (init 1).
4. remount root partition to readonly.
5. run fsck.reiser4 root_device_name (if you use cryptcompress, then pass
options -n --fix for the first run).
