I believe that most of the damaged assemblies other than the preselector
were replaced after the strike. The reviever section and backplane appear to
be replacement parts as the dates on the silk screens are more recent. The
only damage I have found so far is the melted former and blackining inside

Hey gang.
OK, need some info from you old timers who are Dayton regulars.
Any good reputable booths I should visit as far as commercial stuff
goes?
I'm thinking about link radios, commercial HTs, perhaps maybe even a
duplexer or 2.
Any ideas?

What part of a repeater system do you wish to coat, and for what
purpose?

Hello,
I have

Thanks, Eric. Looks like it needs to stay as a 2-watt repeater - seems
unfortunate to just burn up 10 of the 12 watts in the attenuator when it
could be an extra few dB going to the antenna. I see the attenuator in the
schematic for the antenna network. Maybe someone will come up the parts

I'm surprised the radio wasn't more seriously damaged. If the receiver
still works okay, and has nominal sensitivity, you probably can leave it
alone. If the resonator coil position has not changed, replacing it may
not be worth the trouble. If it were my own equipment, I'd replace any

Yes, it does have a circulator. In fact, the major difference between
the 2W and the 12W PAs is in the antenna network itself- where the
circulator is located. The 12W network has an 18k resistor and a
paralleled thermistor in the reflected power sensing line, that is not
used in the 2W v
