I just came across a versitle timer that will keep those cooling fans
running after an un-key. It's the ELK-960, can be set from 1 sec. to
60 min, can be keyed by a negative or positive signal and the on-board
relay is good up to 5A or so at 12V. More info is at www.elkproduct.com

We uses they a lot and have had very good luck with them. We get them from
our alarm system supply co.
