[Repeater-Builder] 220 MHz duplexer

2007-08-19 Thread sms mms
Dear Sir, Can anyone suggest me from where I can get the tunning/design idea of 220 MHz duplexer? This is very urgent. I think the article about this has been published on repeater builder, but I have not found. Thanks in advance. - 5, 50, 500,

Hi All, I did the X2/X5 Range Switch Modification on my Bird 43 about six months ago. Since I did the deed I have not suffered from cough due to cold, any hang nails or suffered from malnutrition. I realize that these things COULD happen but the likelihood is an acceptable risk. We have to

Dail, You mean you did not get Bird 43 flue by opening it up and letting the air out into your enviorment. This gives me confidence, hi. Yep at +/-5% of full scale the Bird is not very accurate. I think it is good for what we use it for. I also think because it is built strong it is popular

hi all, In LINKS on this board is a link to: http://www.dallas.net/~jvpoll/dup6m/dup6m.html Here are plans and permance data on a 6 meter duplexer built with 1-5/8 helix feedline. It is also as much an ad for purchasing the duplexer as the plans. Know some have used 7/8. Often the problem

what do you mean by the tunning/design idea? You just want to know how to tune your duplexer? If so, what kind of duplexer are you tuning? Mobile? Interdigital? How many cavities? etc. There are many good instruction docs available on this topic. Many are free downloads from TX/RX's website as

There are a number of after market peak/rms meter boards sold for the Bird 43 and other popular watt meters. Electronic circuits can easily be adapted to scale the meter movement to X2, X5 X10 values in both the original rms peak reading functions. T'was what I did before I stopped using

[Repeater-Builder] Simple COR PTT to Echolink serial port interface

Good Afternoon, Has anyone come up with a simple circuit to tie a repeater controller's port to a PC's serial port for Echolink? I have customized a few Rigblaster type units in the past to add COS funtionality, but the more I have looked at them, the more I think they are a waste of money.

Eric, At www.echolink.com, the echolink folks, sell an interface board for it. It is a small ~3x3 board with serial port to the computer and I/O for the repeater. They provide tx an rx audio and ptt. Think also COS. Been about 5 years since I played with ours. It is still running 24/7.
