And I'm behind on most of them, as usual. Thank
I'm looking for Daniels repeaters or components, older equipment like
MT-2 or MT-3, VHF highband and UHF analog FM.
If there's anyone out there who can help me source any I'd be happy.
Kind regards
Martin
I'd like to see pix of this too.

The landlord is installing a new tower about 150ft away from the
existing tower at one of our sites. We have a remote receiver and
backup 2M repeater located there. We're thinking it is wise to
replace the 16 year old Diamond F23 with this move to the new tower.
Our timeframe is 2-4 weeks max
Hi, Our family is going on a trip down to Disney world next week. I
would like to know what ham repeater frequencies I can program into my
IC7000. If anyone can send me a list of wide coverage repeaters for
their area I would appreciate it. It would definitely make the trip
more pleasant
I am not sure of the repeaters, but if you want some fun listening when
you are there bring along a UHF HT.
Turns out that the Euoropean FRS Radios use 446.000 as one of the main
channels and it is fun listening to them.
I stayed in a hotel on the 21st floor just outside of the park and you
Ken,
Going to attend the Southeastern VHF Conference in Orlando? If so I'll
be looking for you.
While traveling I-95 thru NC you will find good coverage from the
Brodway repeaters.

Sinclair is still pretty good... not as good as they used to be.

They make some very good products that stand up in environments that
shred Sinclair's.

Does anyone know if I can use two Motorola CDM 1550 radios for good UHF
link radios for a repeater site?
The Michigan repeater linking band is 433.000-435.000
Thanks, I just want to make sure.
Mike
Yes, but save yourself a few bucks and use the CDM750's unless you need the
LCD display and channel capacities. We use several of them in our system.

I have a simular story on unexplained propigation. I helped build a repeater
that is operated in Tularosa, NM and is sited on the floor of the Tularosa
Basin which encompasas the White Sands Missle Range. It uses a Comet 17 ft
dual bander on a 50 ft tower but it's coverage includes the whole

It's certainly possible. Big mountains make great VHF reflectors. I
can often work stations to the north or east of my location on 2m FM
simplex or SSB with stronger signals if we both point
I don't remember too much about the 60's I may have been at

Mike,
The CDM1550-LS+ radio is available in a 1-25 watt model that covers 403-470
MHz. However, the 1550 is gross overkill for link service. I use the
low-power version of the UHF CDM750 radio for linking, and it is much
cheaper. Since I run the radio at about 3 watts into a six-element Yagi
Below is a list of items going to Dayton with me. Any of the heavy items
will go unless prior arrangements are made with a $50.00 deposit. On the
cabinets you will receive $25.00 back once you pick up the cabinet(s) in
Dayton. Not all of the stuff going to Dayton is listed so come by the
