I did some research on element configuration for the DB-420 omni.
Here's the reason why the DB-420 has the top 4 element pairs facing one way and
the bottom four 90-degrees the other way. It was because it was easier to pack
and cheaper to ship it that way.

I recently bartered for a Cushman CE-4000. Everything worked fine
except the O Scope is very dim. I was curious, and found that the
tube in my 301 scope plug in was the same tube. I swapped the tubes
and now nothing at all. How do I test the voltages on this thing.
