Hi All,
I have a Maxtrac with no Tx PL. I've checked the programming several
times, even cloned another radio. I've tried both TPL and DPL. I've
checked the Tx output on the service monitor and there just isn't any
TPL/DPL there. Mic audio is there and deviating at the proper level.
What
Hi Mike,
You may have already figured this out... use the 005 command to set the
ports access mode.
I sounds like you want 005 2 3.

005: Set Receiver and DTMF Decoder Conditions
005 p y Set receivers access mode
Parameters:
- 005 is the default command name.
- p is the port number
If you are using the4 RC-210 it doesn't take the link out of commission
during the ID. Say it's time to ID the remote TX comes up and starts
IDing without PL, if someone keys up on the repeater the PL get's enabled
on the remote TX radio and what's left of the ID will be heard.
With the RC-210
I've used Chip Angle's band-pass filters and preamps with very good
results and he's always been willing to chat on the phone.

I am looking for a supplier of low noise high performance receiver

Hi Mike,
Are you trying to take the data stream from the Ultimeter and send it to
both the WX Trak for APRS and the CAT WS-1000, which would be connected to
your CAT-1000?
-Sean
Gary,
I'm not trying to DECODE any packet data. just convert the Peet WX data to
packets for the radio to

whoop! that should say send it to both the WX Trak for APRS and the

Hi Glenn,
The www.fieldcomm.org link doesn't seem to work.
I found the information here:

Here is a link to a review of the portable repeaters that I build. They

built around P110/GP300's.

Generally you have to put the Kenwood radios in to programming mode, then
you can read/write to it.
Try one of the following to get it into programming mode.
Press and hold the button below PTT and C button and then turn on. Wait a
couple of seconds.
or
Press and hold MON and A buttons, and
I am using a WD-100 with an old Bendix-King radio connected to an RLC-3
and it works great.
Sure it's not as cheap as hacking a Radio Shack WX Radio, but it has all
of the features you need and more.

Hi Vern,
Check out this PDF. http://www.scomcontrollers.com/downloads/adm_schem.pdf
It has 3 pots as you described. Two for Bias Adjust and one for Delay Time.

Thank-you Bob, for pointing that out.
As it turns out, someone else had mentioned that to me as well.
In this instance,
Hi Mike,
You might save yourself some trouble by using an outboard squelch circuit
fed with discriminator audio.
Here are some option in no particular order.

Sean,
Contact Telewave for information about your Wacom duplexer cables.
Telewave
duplexers are very similar in construction to the Wacom units, and
Telewave
has the technical data to support and/or modify Wacom cavities. Go here:
Hi All,
I have access to a WP-641 factory tuned to the ham band, but someone
removed and misplaced the interconnect cables.
Does anyone have a WP-641 that they could take the measurements from?
I am also in need of the type of cable used. I think Wacom used RG-223/U.
Thanks,
Sean
Thanks for the measurements! I think I will go with RG-214.
-Sean
Don't know what is used in the 641 but the interconnect length for the
WP-642 set up for N connectors is 12 3/8 inches for the 2 meter band.
I don't think Wacom used RG-223U. Their UHF duplexers were supplied with

Hi All,
I recently listed two Kenwood TM-541A 1200MHz radios on that auction
site both have the COS brought out and terminated on the back. They make
great link or repeater radios.
I have also listed a Wacom WP-698 BpBr 4-cavity 1200MHz duplexer and a
Celwave 900Mhz notch duplexer tuned to
