I quess I forgot the part about the current repeater output, it's currently putting out 55 watts and has 3 muffin fans blowing across the PA. 110 watts from the Mitrek, wow! I think the PA would be about the temperature of the surface of the Sun after a few minutes. I am thinking about backing

I actually thought about taking the compressor out of a small fridge and making up some copper tubing to inter-mingle between the heatsink fins and cool it that way. Next time I have some free time and some free money I am going to work on that.

No. Didn't know of anyone who had the problem either, but my experence is short.I only have played with the 50w mitreks and I know I can run them full tilt and have no in-radio de-sense. That being said, I like to run them at 1/2 power, will play fine even if the fans fail for some reason,
