I would also look at the termination of the Cat 5 cables as well as looking at any router which is in the system-we have seen, as numerous sites, that Wi-Fi switches and routers are not very well shielded and produce a TON of garbage in the 140-172 MHz band at least-I am not sure what components

We saw some noise from a similar setup, and it went away after three things were done. 1. The wireless ISP replaced the Unshielded Twisted-Pair they were using for the Ethernet and Power-Over-Ethernet to the units, with Shielded Twisted Pair and properly GROUNDED the shield. (Some ISP's will

Is the interference present on your receiver when your transmitter isn't activated, or is it only there when your transmitter is transmitting? I've seen several different types of TDD systems that cause near-field interference when subjected to high power RF in VHF or UHF. Matthew Kaufman
