Hey Steve, thanks for all your valuable
information. I am still working on my project, I
am using a CAT controller to give me the earth for
Channel select on the Motorola Radio from a remote
DTMF command, I will let you know how it works
out. Do you have a private E Mail address or phone
number?
Nothing to add here, but have some questions for someone.
Are there plans to build your own tuned cavities? I have an APRS station on
144.39 and would like to add a 145.03 system as well with a 440 9600 freq. I
don't know much about these things.
Thanks

Looking for a spare Low-Band Receiver, 12 or 13 split.
Failing that, I'll take the whole mobile.
Anyone have one they want to part with ?

Hi folks,
Well, looks like the R2002B will be setting on the
shelf for a while. (dead PS)
In the mean time, I was able to get an IFR 1100S
for a good price ;-).
Anyhow, looks like it all works except for the o'scope.
Was wondering if there is something 'simple' I should
look for (fuse, etc),
Tim,

Dick,
I have two that I removed from a 10M transmitter I built. I am fairly
sure they are 12 split RX's. E-mail me privately if you are still in need.

I ran across a TCN1383A stamped Micor part in our stash and I am wondering
what to call it. I think its a Chassis to a 75 MHz Micor Point to Point link
radio which I heard are pretty rare these days. We have quite a few of them
here and I cannot find the nomenclature on
John,
It definitely is a remote chassis- and it has only just recently been
cancelled by Motorola Parts. Perhaps you might call Motorola Parts ID at
800-422-4210, and ask the clerk what radio it belongs to and what manual
covers it. Please share the information you find.

I am pretty sure I came across the torque specification for the PA transistor
mounting screws in Motorola documentation somewhere, but I can not find it now.
The manuals I looked in just say to tighten securely and that leaves a lot of

Hi Everyone,
We are setting up a project in Manila and would like to ask some help with
information about a good repeater duplexer.
I saw one in Ebay, (Sinclair Q2220E VHF BpBr Repeater Duplexer).
Is this a good type of duplexer and would work on a typical repeater setup? We
will use it on
Lot,
The specification sheet for this duplexer shows 70 db of isolation. That may
not quite be enough.
I have a Q2330E which Sinclair claims 85 db of isolation. I was able to
carefully tune the duplexer to obtain 91 db of isolation at 147.280/147.880.
With a 75 Watt Micor repeater station and
Larry,
Your message came through blank.
Might want to try again.
Your 6 can Wacom or one of those other ones you just picked up would work much
better for him if you still have one available.
