decent repeater antenna (prefer dipole array) and a decent Preamp. If
anyone has any extra decent antennas or preamps laying around let me

here in our little one horse town in northern indiana but I am
sure that after sitting in storage ,being moved from place to place
and just years of neglect they will probably need to be cleaned and
retuned
is there anyone
I my self own 26 Maggiore repeaters that are on the air every day and I nor
my users have any problems. They just work on and on!
But they are the newer ones' not the old build for Clegg or Midlands.

Not in Indiana, but a comment. I Used one of those Duplexers years ago. Be
careful where you locate it. Extremely sensitive to temperature variations.
We had it on a mountaintop and retired it after the first winter.

To a degree, I would agree with that. But, in reality.. They were
friendly and helpful BEFORE I spent the money... Actually, They gave me
almost a wholesale cost out the door. The amateur net price is 5% up
from wholesale... If I was still in the biz, I could have saved the 5%.

I thought something like that was called Echostation? Although he does

You are correct ... the TX-RX people are quite helpful.

I never spent a dime with them, and they knew I bought my duplexer's from an
end user. Mary emailed me the specs, and set em straight on the insertion

I had a set of sewer pipe duplexers like what you are describing for
220Mhz years ago. I built a wood box, put a small light bulb and a
thermostat inside and set it to about 90 degrees. These kept them fairly
stable year-round.
