A spur is ususally produced by multiplier circuitry in the transmitter. I would retune the exciter and pay special attention to the position of the slugs prior to retuning. Second you might just have a defective exciter board. Most

Sounds like you might have an old boot loader on
the vyex board. Hook your terminal (pc and software
to the vyex board and reboot the 7k/w-dab from a
power off condition. Look at the vyex start message
on the terminal. If it says something like version
1.2, you need to update the lastest

to a power amplifier. Said PA had a previous repair
done by someone who obviously didn't have the right
tools, solder equipment heat and knowledge to properly

I had to get the system on the air so the controller is now at the
site. The CD that
I think that maybe these antennas do not work very
well. I have two of them and have tried different
mounts, different radio's different frequency,
checking cables gnds, mounts connections. The bottom
line is I just can't get the swr down enough where I
feel safe about it.

I have a C3I audio connected to a Cat 300dx.
As you increase the delay there a hiss that
is heard. If you turn the delay off, the hiss is
silent. Any Ideas?
That audio delay module uses two cascaded Reticon RD5108 bucket-brigade
audio delay chips. Bucket-brigade technology
Anyone got the service amnual for the Vertex VXR 5000 repaeter in PDF
form?
Also I have the software, what cable does it require?
