I have a Glenayre RL453 receiver I want to place on a 440 mHz link frequency,

Just for fun our club set-up a 250watt repeater w/o cans. We installed the
transmit antenna on the roof top of the building. One floor down (its a tiered
roof) we installed the receive antenna. We positioned the two antenna so that
they were physically separated by the structure. The

The front case got damaged and I got a replacement front to make the radio
usable again.

I started with the pre-driver, driver, and than the final stage each separately
by tuning C2 and C9 for minimum VSWR in and max output power. Finally, went
through each stage again tuning C2 and C9 for minimum VSWR, maximum power and
maximum efficiency.

It appears that Ken no longer supports this controller with updated
firmware,mine is version 3.1

We have a desktrack that is allready used at our club for ham radio operation,
but its working in stand alone mode. we would like o interface it to our
repeater controler.
but we have no service manual or user manual for it..
any one here have some info you culd share?

I've got two UHF DeskTracs as well that I would like to push into
service. I'll take a look at MotoOnline and see if they still have
documentation in print.

First off, if it is being used as a desktop station radio (i.e., NOT duplex)
the first thing that you will find is you need to add another radio chassis
to be able to convert it into a repeater - the DeskTrac repeater used
separate chassis (plural) for TX and RX.

I do this with a rat shack wx radio and it works flawlessly.. I use an aux
input on my 210 for audio straight from the volume pot and find the mute line
in the radio to run the alarm port. The advantage with this setup and
specifically the radio shack model radio is that it takes care of the
