Jeff,
Well, for that matter anybody that wants to answer. How long is the mast
supposed to be on a DB413?
I have one with a mast that is 12ft in length. Does it really matter when it
is 140ft in the air, 40 inches off the side of a tower?

I find this interesting, especially with regard to the db408.
Did you test the db408 with both db404's harnessed and working together?

Good evening,
A couple of weeks ago someone listed several DB Products BSWR on the amateur

Anybody remember what the VSWR is for DB 404 and DB 408?

Anybody have an idea of the noise to singal ratio for the GE Mastr II UHF

I have heard they are quite noisy as compared with other preamps such as the
Advanced Research products.
Let me know. Brian, k5in

The antenna described in this posting is the Comet Super222. Back fiberglass

Sounds like a temperature related issue. You might recheck the duplexers and
even knock on their housing while testing.
I am no expert but am only throwing out suggestions.

I want a suggestion for a solidly built rugged dual band vertical for a remote
base located on a mountain top.
Please let me know a model number. Gain isn't the issue only survivability.
Thanks, Brian, k5in
lost of gain, I'd suggest a single folded dipole
element for each band, mounted on a single mast. Check Telewave, Sinclair or
Comprod - all make them.
If you require a single feedline, they make a band splitter too.
