The only part I am familiar with on this is the Ultra High Stability Oscillator
for the other bands, not 940MHz. But it looks like they use a doubler somewhere
so the VCO is at 1/2 the final output frequency.

Well let's look at this from this prospective.
I removed the power amps and the power supplies from the purc 5000 cabinet.
I then put them in a cabinet with an antenna relay from RF Parts.
This power amp, on VHF, is capable of 500 watts rf output on FM and on SSB.
