Re: [Repeater-Builder] Re: Re-Tune a Vocom Amplifier
I have one of these amps and the paperwork from cresend/vocom on how to tune/align. I will try to locate and scan for the group. It isn't that hard to tune. The instructions are clear. I seem to recall that you will need 2 bird watt meters, a 50 ohm load capable of handling the power and 13.8vdc power supply with amp meter. 73 Norm - Original Message - From: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com To: Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Repeater-Builder@yahoogroups.com Sent: Thu Jul 22 23:18:55 2010 Subject: [Repeater-Builder] Re: Re-Tune a Vocom Amplifier Excellent... I once asked Cresend for a diagram and they wouldn't provide it saying only they should re-tune their amplifier products. I don't buy or recommend Cresend any more... I would tell you to flip (sell) the Vocom and buy something already down into the Ham Bands where you can use it without grief. s.
