Instead of going through all of that trouble, why don't you find/buy a
150.8-174 MHz range PA? They work GREAT in the ham band even though they
are not spec'd for operation there. You can usually pick them up fairly
cheap since they were one of the most popular bandsplits.

This would be a 100W pull from a mobile. It's the same as used in a
station, but you would need to change the I/O connections to make it
work on a station heat sink.

Hi our club received a few month ago a defective TLD-1694E PA
By looking at the web site repeater builder I was able to find out that
to make this PA work on 2 meter we would need to replace a lot of
stuff, but before doing so we need to fix it..
so we need the part diagram and part list ,
