Since you're doing 900 MHz, also make sure you sign up for the AR902MHz
group on Yahoo. Plenty of nice folks all dedicated just to that band there.

There is now a FAQ folder in the files section of the
repeater-builder yahoogroup.
Can I suggest several FAQs?
One for operational concerns, one for voters, one for MastrIIs,
one for Antennas, duplexers, feedlines
And one for Mike?

I also think a FAQ would be good. It could be in the files section on
Yahoo, and mailed to the list monthly. There are a lot of questions I see
over and over again, and the FAQ would be a great place to consolidate that
knowledge.

I think you might have missed what the simplex repeater was all about. It
is not actually a repeater, it has a digital chip that records the voice and
then retransmit it. So this repeater that you are wanting to build would
have to have a DVR that is capable of retransmission. Not sure what

Used a Zetron Simplexor and Kenwood, TK860 Mobile Radio. Understand that
CSI, Communications Systems Inc. now manufactures a box just for that
purpose. I used to use one to extend 2 tone paging for volunteer fire
