SAP BI Developer required ( Client:State) Location: Raleigh NCDuration: 6 monthsSAP BI Developer The Office of the State Controller (OSC) is seeking a short term (approx. 6 month) contractor to augment an existing SAP BI staff. The selected candidate will be responsible for both new development and post production support within an existing implementation of SAP BI HCM. Responsibilities will span most aspects of SAP BI. The ideal candidate will have very strong skills in programming and customization skills in SAP BI within the Human Resource modules such as PA, OM, BN, PY and PT. The candidate must have strong work ethic, people skills, and experience in SAP BI implementations from the analysis and design through to implementation. The role will require the BI Developer to support, design, configure, develop, test, and implement efficient and cost effective solutions. In additions this position will require a strong level of experience with SAP BI data modeling, data staging, data extraction, and logical/physical database design as well as recognizing design dependencies between projects, and a deeper experience with data cleansing, aggregating, transforming and validating the data to ensure accuracy and consistency. The candidate must be able and willing to provide mentoring and training for other BI team members. Job Title - INFORMIX TEST SPECIALIST Tentative Start Date - 7/6/2009 Duration - 3.5 Month(s) City - Indianapolis State - Indiana Country - USA Required Skills Informix Test Upgrade SLA Model HP Mercury Architect The customer has been unable to complete an upgrade of its Informix version 9.40 database to Informix 11.50 after three attempts. A resource is needed to assist the customer in completing the migration. As a result of the assessment, a road map was developed that recommends that the customer undertake an exacting process to assure the final Informix migration is done successfully. The initial scope of work will be for 3 weeks and will entail detailed planning for the final implementation that is expected to take an additional 14 weeks. In order to staff this effort a Test Architect/SME is required. During the detailed planning phase, the SAN Architect/SME will be expected to assist with detail planning for the following Work Breakdown Structure Tasks: Test Management and Admin Develop test planning, analysis, design and execution activities Test Infrastructure Preparation Develop tactical test stage test approaches and execution procedures Scope test environments and testing workspaces Procure Test Tools Install Test Tools Test Model Planning Define and publish the CT Database Test Strategy Define and publish Test Stages (see Example V-Model Framework in Appendix J) Define defect severity definitions and Service Level Agreements (SLA) Define Test Model Document Defect Management Strategy Test Execution Execute the CT Database Test Strategy Track and analyze defects Pre-migration run through Final Migration It is expected that testing will utilize the HP/Mercury Test Suite: HP Quality Center , HP Quick Test Pro, HP LoadRunner. Once this plan is detailed, the implementation phase is scheduled to proceed, and this resource will be expected to implement the detailed plan. Additional testers may be required and this resource may be required to review and select candidates for final testing. Access to the testing environment will be given and this resource will have to be able to assist and direct testers with the testing process prior to and during cutover.
