The license on the code is open enough that Sun should have no problems
integrating it. Sun has incorporated code with more restrictive

Nice to see that there is some development on these drivers! I, for one, would
love to have a stable dell perc 5/i driver in solaris - I got a PE 2900 myself,
and the only way to have more than 4 connected hard disks /and/ keep support
from dell is to order a Perc 5/i controller from them.
