So, over the weekend I installed 3.2.1, and discovered that it has the
same behavior. Sadly, the small EC2 instance seems to be significantly
slower than the real hardware it's replacing, so it's really noticeable.

Makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong but I don't see how I
could be.

Am I?

We'll need to add that back for backward compatibility.

We're putting JSF and JPA on hold for now, so we can focus on
improving the core of Resin. In the meantime, we'll be using the
reference implementations. We'll revisit that decision in 6 months or
so.

Thanks. That's one of our failing regression tests that hasn't been
fixed yet.

Hi Scott,

I just tried the snapshot, there are following issues with it on my side:

- jsf

[10:31:11.465] {main} 248:
[10:31:11.465] {main} 249:
[10:31:11.465] {main} 250:
[10:31:11.465] {main}
[10:31:11.474] {main} /usr/local/www/resin/conf/resin.xml:248:
com.caucho.server.webapp.WebApp.createJsf(): java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
Could not initialize class com.caucho.jsf.cfg.JsfPropertyGroup

Is that not supported any more?

-

This isn't automaticall recognized by the any more and gives the following error
when using the apache-module:

2009-07-17 10:44:47,170 WARN  c.c.server.webapp.ErrorPageManager  -
'plugin_match' is not a known servlet. Servlets must be defined
 by  before being used.

Best regards, --- Jan.

What are you using for the service? A servlet like

   class MyBean extends HessianServlet?

Thanks, Scott, that's great news. Anyone get a chance to look at
Hessian bug #3579?

I'm going to deploy my new production environment this weekend, so I
may have to go with 3.x.x, but hopefully 4.0 will be ready in time.
I'm deploying on EC2, so there's still some work to do.

Thanks!

Thanks. I've just fixed that one.

4.0.1 has relatively few bug fixes. The CanDI refactoring (major),
the Servlet 3.0 early access, and the leftover 4.0.0 regressions
didn't leave much time for the bug list.

There's a new 4.0 snapshot (not including this bug fix). 4.0.1 will
probably be out next week.
