Oracle Developer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6+ months

Primary Qualifications
Support business analysts and internal business teams during requirements
gathering and project scoping process (e.g., provide technical feasibility
input if appropriate)
Design, develop, implement, test, and deploy technical solutions that meet
functional specifications
Collaborate with business analysts to deliver with predictability in all
phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements analysis through
deployment
Work with project managers to organize and manage projects from a technical
perspective
Intensive experience with Oracle Financials - P2P (Procurement, Approvals,
Ebiz tax, Accruals, Payables, Expense reporting, Vertex integration (use
tax))
Intensive experience in technical design and coding using Oracle
Application framework & Oracle ADF in R12 Oracle Forms.
SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Application Framework Java, XML Publisher, Oracle
Workflow, Bourne Shell Script, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports
Solid understanding of Oracle FND module such as function security, key
flexfield, descriptive flexfield, etc
Intensive experience and strong knowledge in PL/SQL and SQL Performance
tuning
Intensive experience and strong knowledge in Oracle Database
Strong analytical skills

Must Have
Familiarity with software development processes and project life cycles
Familiarity with source control systems
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and comfort with high
service level expectations

Desired Years of Experience: 7+ developer roles, for senior dev roles 12+
Desired Level of Education: BS degree in Computer Science or related
technical field, or equivalent practical experience

The tasks for the Senior Developer include, but are not limited to, the

· Follow the client system development methodologies and complete
assigned tasks within a reasonable time frame under the supervision of a
manager.

· Analyze, code, and unit test ECF new development modules

· Provide support for the Development Team and Application Support
Team.

· Provide day-to-day technical assistance in resolving ECF
production problems.

· Provide in-depth analysis, diagnose, repair or enhance ECF
production application.

· Plan and manage all aspects of the development function.

· Mentor the client staff in ECF application development.

· Must have the ability to work collaboratively with other support
team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with
minimum supervision.

· Must be self-motivated, working closely and actively
communicating with person to accomplish time critical tasks and

 The ideal candidate should possess the following requirements:



· BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree

· 8+ years of software development experience

· Development experience in enterprise-class system with multi-tier
architecture

· Strong knowledge of Forms Version 10g preferably (Knowledge of 9i
under web environment is acceptable)

· Strong knowledge of PL/SQL - Back end programming and expertise
in the following:

oPackages

oProcedure

oFunctions

oAutonomous Procedures
