I second this complaint. I would much prefer Retrospect to create a directory with the name of the catalog and have files inside for each client for faster file compares. Or at least let me break out a "big" client. A file compare of a ~22G restore takes about 2hrs even if I want just *one* file o

I am doing my first multi-tape restore with an Exabyte 17D (DLT) and Retrospect asked me to insert the tape. Is this normal? The device manager pane had all of the tapes in the right slots, it didn't want to procede until I ejected the current tape and loaded the correct one. adam... -- --
