On an iMac 333 OS 8.6, using Retrospect Express 4.1A, I have several StorageSets, each backing up different sets of folders. When I want to do an incremental backup of a storageset, I must redefine which folder(s) I want to backup. Is there some way to make RE remember which folders go with which

Jay, Did I misunderstand your question? Do you already have Subvolumes defined? If so, I think what you want are scripts. With scripts, you can have different sets of Subvolumes go to different sets of backup sets. To learn how to create scripts, see p. 111 of the Retrospect Express User's Guide
