Mhm, after thinking a bit about it, I definitely think tagging and real-time searching (ie after each keypress) is the way to go. It will simplify the code a great deal and make the file format much simpler. It should be a much more convenient interface too, it's much easier to just search for entries than to organize and browse them :) -- Erik Grinaker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://erikg.codepoet.no/ "We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." -- Albert Einstein

Love the idea, tagging seems to me a much more intuitive means of organizing data. Command line interface also a great idea, didn't notice that on the TODO list. It might also be useful to have a dropdown-list of all available tags, or even to display a browsable tree where the tags make up the structure, similar to what Epiphany does for bookmark tags. This way, the search bar becomes the primary interface for locating entries - this should also be extended to support multiple word searches and searching for account type names, for example. I think this would be a much more convenient interface, both for the main app, for the GNOME panel applet, as well as a future command-line version. Any thoughts on this? -- Erik Grinaker <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://erikg.codepoet.no/ "We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." -- Albert Einstein -- Devan Goodwin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://dgoodwin.dangerouslyinc.com
