With Control key I can select the group but what I need is:
1- open that specific group and make changes on the permissions
2- delete specific group
and I have not been able to do any of the above two.

That widget is a multi-select list. You should be able to
control-click/command-click items to select/unselect them. (This is not the
most friendly widget, but it's what Django uses for permission groups.)
