This has been requested a couple times recently. We can add it to a future
release, but unless someone writes a patch for this soon, it won't make it
for the upcoming 1.5 release.
As it is today, there's no way to prevent someone from customizing the
groups they belong to.

"Groups" part, Every group shows as an item of a multi-selection box. Can I

That page is shown if a Profile in the database for that user doesn't yet
exist. You would have to go into the Database section in the admin UI and to
Profile and create one for each user. It's sort of annoying to do, and
ideally creating a user in the admin UI would just create a Profile as well,
