We upgraded some of our JavaScript dependencies and it regressed moving the
comment dialog and autocomplete. We're working on the fixes and will put out a
beta 3 in time.

Word of warning: There are some issues with bits of the UI elements in beta 2.

That's exactly the same problem as mine with the same errors from the
second command (only upgrading 1.6.11 to 1.6.12).
