Even if the sample has a rolling (orthorhombic) sample symmetry, in a Bragg-Brentano pure experiment you see it as a cylindrical symmetry as you cannot distinguish between rotations around the normal to the sample. If you use a lower symmetry some of the spherical harmonic coefficients will
