Hi Francois,
We use the Leister LE mini heat gun pretty routinely for temperatures up to 600
C with Bruker D8 capillary set ups. We use Leister's own control box (which you
need to put into "advanced user" mode to control ramp rates etc), which is fine
for most things. It should also be possible to control the LE Mini with
something like a Eurotherm programmable controller which could interface with
your data collection software.
We also have the excellent Anton Paar HTK1200 chamber with a capillary adapter,
for going up to 1000 C, but this is probably a bit overkill for your
application.
Best regards,
Dave

Subject: heater system in transmission
Dear Rietveld users,
We would like to buy or to built an heater system for our laboratory
system (Empyrean equipped in transmission with capillary). The aim is to
reach 200-300°C, this is mainly for organic compounds. I have few
questions : if we use an air blower is there any problem for the
goniometer ? In comparison with air blower found in large instrument
(ESRF, …..)
Does anyone has constructed is own system (infrared heating system ?
External Kapton shield ?...)
Thank in advance for the answers and discussions
François
