[RDD] getting started

2015-01-11 Thread Les Roberts
Finally got around to building a new pc. I got ubuntu loaded, but I'm unclear where to get a copy of Rivendell, and exactly what to do to install it. Can someone point me somewhere? ___ Rivendell-dev mailing list

Les, look at: http://debian.tryphon.eu/ I generally install my debian and ubunto rivendells from their repositories. I can't seem to find the page of instructions I normally use this morning but this page may help enough: http://rivendell.tryphon.org/wiki/Install_under_Debian all the best,

The instructions are here: http://www.tryphon.eu/en/blog/2012/01/05/rivendell-2.1.2-debian-ubuntu/ It's pretty straightforward. It's the only way I have to get RD running without struggling with missing dependencies and hardware issues. On Sun, Jan 11, 2015 at 3:35 PM, drew Roberts

Hi all, I'm using the Tryphon repository for my Linux Mint install of RD and working very well. Where can I find pre-compiled versions of the Windows tools, RDLogEdit etc? The WIKI points to the old ftp.salemradio but long gone. Thanks Richard ___

I wonder if having 2 client computers simultaneously editing different date logs (belonging to the same station) works? Had a feeling it didn't. Basically I just need a yes or no for the new owners. Many thanks, Warren Mead ___ Rivendell-dev
