Hi, I have two questions concerning instrument parameters when playing midi. When I import a midi file to rosegarden, even though I have Qsynth connected via jack, there is no sound with the default General MIDI Device, even though I see the meter levels move. Also, to use the synth plugins I

I usually make use of the dssi plugin capability of rosegarden, and while not all-encompassing, it works. If you need a preset, you can set up a session with the needed fluidsynth-dssi plugins loaded, each with it's own soundfont, and then save it as default session. If your soundfont is a GM
