having played around for a while with rg and a downloaded a yoshimi.rgd from https://sourceforge.net/p/rosegarden/code/HEAD/tree/trunk/rosegarden/data/library/yoshimi.rgd?format=raw i found that it doesn't match the yoshimi banks and instrument setup i'm getting from yoshimi now on archlinux. so

i have a lot of ly files created with frescobaldi and 1. want to bring them into rg (for editing, playback etc) 2. then export them back to ly (to keep things rg based) the only way i can see doing this (since rg doesn't import ly), is to a. make midi files out of the ly b. import into rg c.

rosegarden 21.12 qt 5.15.2 which is what i get on archlinux exports to lilypond 2.14 though i read that it detects the version of lilypond on my computer. lilypond is up to 2.22.2 though it still works with minor editing of the .ly file (eg remove \lyricsto). i have to change the \version too.
