[rt-users] Locking menu bar at the top of the screen
All, I was wondering if there is a way to lock the menu bar at the top of the screen in a similar way that the Ticket Action bar is locked when you scroll down. I think this would be particularly useful when there are particularly long tickets. Please let me know if there is a way to do this programmatically or with an extension. Thanks! [rt-users] Possible problem with From and BCC being the same?
All, I have an online form that I am using to create tickets in RT for Data and/or Report Requests. The way that the requests are getting to RT is in the Completion email message, I am BCCing the address that is forwarding to the queue. Unfortunately the form maker doesn't allow a noreply address in the From field, so I am using the email address that is forwarding to RT queue in the From field as well. There appears to be a hang-up somewhere when the From field and BCC field are the same. I am working with the software distributor to see if it is something on their end but I am also wondering if it may be a problem with RT. Has anyone had a similar problem or have any advice? [rt-users] Queue Admin, not RT Admin
I have recently become one of the campus administrators for our RT system. As a result, I am fielding a lot of requests from staff for privledges to different queues. One in particular is a director within IT wanting to be admin for queues that pertain to his department. I have gone into the queue and went to modify user rights for queue and gave him all of the rights under "Rights for Administrators". However, he not able to utilize any of those rights within his queues. I don't want him to be an overall administrator, just over his queues. Am I missing something big? I haven't found any explanation of this online anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
